Thanks Lycan, I replied to you.
Luca, the song is based on a childrens book about a rabbit who has BIG ears, but he never listens to anybody. It's a favorite of mine and my kids love when I read it to them. I play out all of the parts. Here is a link to the book on Amazon so you can see what Buddy looks like a bit:

The Yousendit download gave up on me last night, so the whole zip file corrupted this end. I'll get the individual tracks from the Multiply site.

Damn, sorry about that Stacey. Yeah, the Multiply site is up and going and getting kind of fun. I might be hating dear ol' Andy up there for finally getting me to sign up on this thing.
Am I officially a "Blogger" now???
Did you just call me "cheesy"??? LOL!
Ya know, part of what killed F&L was that I started insisting on us finding a REAL vocalist. I wanted to work more on my guitar, and I wanted somebody with a voice who could really help the songs shine. Those demos were made before I started getting better with the songs. Well, we would have vocalist after vocalist come in to try out, and they would sit and watch us run through the tunes, and in the end they all kept saying we were crazy to try and replace me. Finally the other guy, Bob, even stepped down on singing and handed it all over to me and it was decided that I should be the full time lead vocalist. They all figured if Alice Cooper, Johnny Thunders, Johnny Rotten, and all of them could be the lead vocalists, then I may as well stick it out since everybody preferred my voice. I never claimed to be a Sebastian Bach, nor would I ever want to be.
I always wanted to be Stiv Bators, and I think it shows.
And also, I've been the vocalist in my bands since I started doing bands back in '86.

doesn't necessarily mean that I'm doing something
right.
It also doesn't matter if vocalists sound like Bach or
Rotten, they just got to be able to sing, that's
all. It's agreed that Rotten was quite under-rated
back in the day, for more or less the same reasons
as Axl: projection, pitch awareness, etc. Crap singers
have none of these attributes - not that I'm saying
you fall into that catagory, of course.

Damn...this is getting rough. This is one of the reasons I was afraid of your hearing the stuff. You and your damn honesty. It beats the hell out of Ricky Rat telling me he couldn't give me an answer on how the stuff was, because the recording was so bad he couldn't make anything out! Nice Ricky, cover your ass.
Nah, that's cool man. After my one band Misty Beethoven went into the studio for the first time, I played it for my Mom. She listened to it, and had no idea about it other than me playing guitar.
"Who's that singing? They sound like shit"
"...ummm, that's me Mom."
The look of horror on her face was oh so worth it! I still use that against her.
So if my mom tells me I sound like shit, I can deal with it.
